Qualifying payments become capital

When you receive qualifying termination payments (redundancy, genuine compensation), the net amount may count towards your household capital for Universal Credit purposes.

Partner capital counts too

If you have a partner, their capital is combined with yours for UC capital assessment. Our calculator includes both.
